And now, the show’s surprising connection to Australia has been revealed.

The series stars Finn Little, who plays the role of Rip’s son Carter, and is actually Australian.

Finn has become a respected actor after landing a role in the show’s fourth season.

He is also known for playing Gilles in the series Tidelands alongside Elsa Pataky.

Meanwhile, the music for the Yellowstone spin-offs of 1883 and 1923 was composed by Breton Vivian, an English-Australian composer.

His work on the series earned him an Emmy Award nomination, BMI Awards, and a Hollywood Music in Media Award.

Breton also worked on Justin Baldoni’s first feature film, Five Feet Apart.

Australian actress Jacki Weaver has also had a recurring role as Caroline Warner on Yellowstone since 2021.

The series stars Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Luke Grimes.

Originally, season 5B was going to be the final installment of Yellowstone following Costner’s departure as lead character John Dutton.

Costner revealed on Instagram in June that he would not be returning to the show to appear in season 5B, which premieres Nov. 11.

‘Hello everyone. I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half working on Horizon and doing everything necessary, and thinking about Yellowstone, that beloved series that I love, that I know you love, I just realized that I’m not going to to be able to continue with season 5B or in the future,” Costner announced somberly as he looked into the camera.

Previous reports indicated that Costner was likely done with the series for good after conflicts between him and producers over salary, his schedule and his availability to film his multi-part western epic Horizon: An American Saga.

Despite the initial announcement that season 5B would be the end of Yellowstone, emerging reports have since said that a sixth season focusing on the characters of Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser (Rip) could be in the works.

Entertainment industry newsletter Puck reported that the second half of season five will not close out Sheridan’s epic Western series, as previously believed.

The newsletter said Hauser and Reilly were in the final process of signing new contracts with Paramount Network, either for a sixth season or a spin-off series, according to TVLine.

In March, Reilly told Radio Times there were “discussions” ongoing, but added: “Don’t believe everything you read.” It’s just nonsense.’

The final installment of Yellowstone, season five, premieres November 11 only on Stan.
