CBS is breaking up its fall schedule.
The network has established a new fall schedule that acknowledges the actor’s and writer’s strikes and is based on a mix of unscripted shows, acquired scripted series, including yellow stone and the UK version of ghosts — and news programming. CBS had previously announced a fall slate of business as usual ahead of the May previews, even though writers had already gone on strike against studios and broadcasters seeking a new contract.
All that remains of that earlier show are extended 90-minute episodes of Survivor and the amazing race Wednesday nights and the long-running newsmagazines 48 hours and 60 minutes in their usual weekend spots. In addition to Paramount Network yellow stone and the UK ghostsCBS will import seal kit – which was previously a CBS show – and docuseries FBI true from Paramount+ and has added three original unscripted shows: Games of friends, Crazy Lottery and raid the cage. Primetime editions of The The price is correct and Let’s make a Deal it will also help to complete the list and the summer shows Eldest brother and The Challenge: United States It will run through the fall.
CBS will air edited episodes of yellow stone (which freely employs profanity not allowed on the airwaves) on Sunday nights, beginning with the show’s first season. On weeks when the network does not have an NFL doubleheader, two episodes will air beginning at 8 p.m.; in doubleheader weeks, will expand 60 minutes an hour and a half and have only one yellow stone at 9 pm, before Sunday Eldest brother.
The Lotería Loca game show, hosted by Jaime Camil, will open the week at 8 pm on Monday nights, followed by NCIS reruns and a Paramount+ original to be announced. Big Brother, FBI Right and repetitions of fbi It will air on Tuesdays.
friend games, a competition show hosted by Josh Duhamel and based on summer camp games, will follow Big Brother on Thursdays in early fall, with The Challenge: USA rounding out the night. Once those three shows are over, reruns of young sheldon and ghosts will drive an hour from the british ghosts (which is the source material for the success of the network) and seal kit.
The price is right for the night and Let’s make a deal in primetime will share the space on Friday at 8 pm, which will lead to raid the cage and encores of Blue blood.
