Paramount Network pulled the plug on its hit series Yellowstone on Sunday, leaving its legions of fans largely divided.
Last week’s episode ended with Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) joking that he was going to save the ranch by giving it away.
Unsurprisingly, he basically gifted the ranch to its rightful owners, the Broken Rock Indians, and sold it for the price of the land in 1883, when John Dutton’s ancestors first took up the land: $1.25 per acre, just 1.1 million dollars for the largest ranch in the world. Mountain.
Beth (Kelly Reilly) also kept her promise and killed her brother Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley), apparently the last person to be taken to the show’s proverbial ‘train station’.
Beth and Rip (Cole Hauser) also bought a new ranch, while Kayce, Monica (Kelsey Asbille), and Tate (Brecken Merrill) kept East Camp as part of the sprawling ranch, and the rest returned to the reservation.
While all the main storylines were concluded, many showed love for the finale on social media, while others criticized it, some even claiming it was worse than the final season of Game of Thrones.

Last week, Paramount greenlit a new spin-off starring Rip and Beth, which will apparently follow their life on this new ranch they bought.
