Yellowjackets co-creator Ashley Lyle has revealed that Showtime will receive an additional episode before Season 3 hits our screens.
The last episode of the second season was released recently, and left fans with great anticipation to know what the third season would bring, with some even hoping for teaser information about the events that might come.
In a reply to someone on Twitter, Lyle confirmed that there will be an additional episode before the third season of the series. Where I wrote“There will be an extra episode between the two seasons. But I love you guys, and I don’t want you to get sleepy thinking it comes out tonight.”
Confirmation of an additional episode between seasons sure caused quite a stir among fans. However, Lyle warned in another tweet That this episode will be released “closer” than the third season, adding: “I speak frankly, there is a strike, and things are complicated!”
It is noteworthy that the strike of the American Authors Guild led to the suspension of many films and series for the time being. Among them is the third season of Yellowjacket.
