After the New York Yankees did what they always seem to do, continuing their 20-plus years of destroying the Minnesota Twins, the team made some noise off the field when owner Hal Steinbrenner said he is looking to possibly extend superstar Juan Soto during this season. That might be easier said than done given the usual negotiating tactics of Soto’s agent, Scott Boras. Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman begin the podcast by discussing the upcoming negotiations between Soto’s representation and the Yankees.

Then, the guys break down the unreal start Cincinnati Reds phenom Elly De La Cruz threw on the base path (including four steals Thursday night against the Dodgers), why her 80-base goal stolen seems like easy money and the reason why a certain famous video game helps him improve his game every time he is in Los Angeles.

Later, Jake and Jordan answer some emails from listeners in which they apologize for doubting Javier Assad, share which teams they are most optimistic about, and give their Good, bad and Uggla of the week and close by highlighting some games to look forward to this weekend.
