Xi meets CPC National Congress delegates

Special: 20th CPC National Congress

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met more than 2,700 delegates, specially invited delegates and non-voting participants at the 20th National Congress of the CPC in Beijing on Sunday.

Xi, also China’s president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, was greeted with long and warm applause in the Great Hall of the People. He had group photos taken with them.

Other leaders also took part in the meeting.
