Worthy put his speed on full display when he reached a top speed of 22.7 mph against Iowa State.
During his three-year career with the Longhorns, Worthy totaled 197 receptions, 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns.
His speed has been well documented this year even before the 40-yard dash after he reached a top speed of 22.7 mph while returning a punt for a touchdown in Week 12 against Iowa State that was called back due to a penalty.
That number ended up ranking as the highest speed recorded by any player in college football in 2023.
It’s also slightly faster than the speed Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf reached after hitting 22.23 mph against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13.
Many expected Worthy to be a Day 2 draft pick, and the boost to his stock after Saturday’s 40 will likely cement him a spot in the second or third round.
