Dannah McMichael, 39, was in Thailand with her husband, former NFL star Randy McMichael, 45, when she said she swallowed her wedding ring while taking vitamins.
“We went out to dinner and drinks and when I came back, I wanted to take a shower,” he explained.
“Without looking, I put everything in my mouth and washed it down with water.”

Travel blogger Dannah McMichael, 39, said she was taking vitamins when she realized “something was wrong” and her diamond ring was missing from her finger.
McMichael, a travel blogger, said the mistake occurred when she was “beyond jet lag” after a long day of traveling to Phuket town.
she said fox news that after swallowing the ring, he immediately began choking, but believes it was a magnesium pill that caused it, rather than the ring.
“When I started choking on the pills and noticed my ring was missing, I knew something was wrong,” she said.
She said she and her husband, best known for his time playing for the Miami Dolphins in the early 2000s, initially only joked about the possibility of her swallowing the ring when they first went looking for it.
But after two days passed without any sign of the ring, McMichael said he decided to get an X-ray at a local clinic.
“We couldn’t believe it,” he said of the moment he saw the ring on the screen. She shared a video of the moment, with the caption: “I got my ring back.” Wait, I never lost it. He was always with me.’

She said she arrived after a long day of traveling with her former NFL star husband, Randy McMichael, best known for his time playing for the Miami Dolphins in the early 2000s.

She added that her husband was equally pleased, as he admitted to her that he thought a hotel employee might have “robbed it.”
McMichael told Fox News that doctors assured him the ring was nothing to worry about and said it passed naturally a few days later.
“I swallowed it on Sunday and passed it on Wednesday or Thursday,” he said. “There is no pain.”
