Viewers watching the latest episode of Channel 4’s Open House: The Great Sex Experiment were horrified after contestants took part in a 15-person orgy.
The controversial show, currently in its second series, sees committed couples come to a luxury retreat to test whether opening up their relationships and having sex with other people can ‘strengthen their bond’.
However, viewers watching the final episode were left reeling from the unrestricted group sex session, which was dubbed an “after party.”
The risky TV moment, which sparked a deluge of negative comments on Twitter, is the latest groundbreaking show to be commissioned by Channel 4, featuring programs like Naked Attraction and My Massive C***, about men with oversized penises, aired in recent months.

Many viewers were amazed by the programme, one of them saying, ‘I’m too British to have an orgy.
‘What are you talking about? Is it okay to laugh a lot? Is it ok to take a break and make a sandwich?”
When viewers turned on their TVs for the second episode of series 2 of the steamy show, they didn’t have long to wait for the luxurious retreat to warm up.
Chanice, 31, and Richardo, 32, took part in Open House: The Great Sex Experiment to spice up their relationship after dating for eight years.
During the episode, Chanice confessed that she felt insecure on the show and burst into tears.
But later in the show, Ricardo and Chanice began weighing their options and discussing whether to indulge in a threesome or a foursome.
They started playing truth or dare with the other contestants in the house, and things quickly heated up.
But the real drama started moments later when the couple announced the after party.
Chanice said, “I think we just want to play, I just go with the flow.”
The couple made an announcement to the rest of the group, inviting everyone upstairs to the bedroom for “an after party” and admitting they hoped to “catch a vibe.”
Richardo said, “We just invited everyone at the party to the after party. There are so many experienced people. It’s like…take us inside.”
However, he managed to shake off some of his stage fright and the party ended with Ricardo and Chanice having sex in front of the group.
The house guests were seen entering a bedroom and before long the situation turned hot with participants stripping naked and performing sexual acts on each other.
As the action began to heat up and the bodies began to mingle, the reality of what was happening dawned on Richardo.
Chanice said, “I didn’t expect that. Once the sex started, it was hard to get involved.
“They’re obviously taken and you don’t want to just jump in, if that makes sense.”
In the end, resident Tony leads them to the action.
While Ricardo reported feeling “overwhelmed,” Chanice took the plunge and joined two other women in going for it.
She said, “I’ve never really been intimate with a woman like that.
“I think the group setting takes away the fear. I didn’t think I’d be on board so often.’
Richardo told him to “step back” as he watched the others get intimate with each other.
Chanice approached him, asked if everything was okay and called him “her main target.”
Richardo said, “Chanice came to the rescue and let’s put you at ease.”
Chanice said, “Once he was comfortable, we did our thing.”
Other responses, however, suggested that some were more reserved and ashamed of what they had seen
Ricardo got encouragement from the others to get in on the action, but looking less relaxed than his wife, he decided not to stray far from her side.
However, he managed to shake off some of his stage fright and the party ended with Ricardo and Chanice having sex in front of the group.
Richardo said, “I had never been in a room with so many naked men.”
Viewers quickly took to Twitter to report their feelings of the shocking episode, with one jokingly writing: ‘I have to report this filth to Ofcom.’
The same fan didn’t try to hide her excitement, continuing, “I’d better see next week if it gets worse.”
Another fan was quietly pleased with what he’d seen, saying simply, “Channel 4 never fails.”
But other viewers were a bit more British in their response to the episode.
A ‘casual’ viewer wrote: ‘Film on sky has ended and TV is pinging #openhouse what fresh hell is this?!? I can’t believe this is on regular TV.”
Another said, “How strange it is that these people have children … and their children are going to see this.”
