The former cookie factory worker has lost more than four bricks since appearing on the show and has found love with boyfriend Shane.

The singer decided to go on a health kick weeks after his performance on the show and admits he feels “embarrassed” looking at old photos.

He told Now magazine, “I’m so much more confident now.

“I don’t want to lose a stone a week or anything like that. I used to live on chips and sandwiches.

‘I don’t eat a lot of fat and I have stopped sugaring. Eggs are the way forward.’

While Craig smiled in social media photos today, he previously said his weight loss took a mental toll during a performance on Loose Women in 2016.

He explained, “Once I started losing weight, my insecurities only got bigger.

“I think a healthy, good relationship has helped. I had a toxic relationship, being with someone new now feels very different.

“You can change the outside, but the inside always stays the same. As time went on [my insecurities] started to run out. I gave a performance on Saturday and I was terrified.’

He added that he became obsessed with his weight loss and felt like he lost too much weight at one point.

“You get so obsessed you don’t know what you’re doing, and you wake up thinking what I’m going to eat or not eat,” he concluded.
