Joe McElderry appears to be a long way from his teenage X Factor heyday as he announces a new career move.
The singer, 33, won the singing show aged just 18 in 2009, beating off tough competition from the likes of Stacey Solomon, Olly Murs, Rachel Adedeji and Jedward.
And now, 15 years later, Joe looks unrecognizable on social media with curly hair and less of a baby face.
Last month, Joe announced that he had started the That’s Ridiculous podcast with his grandmother Hilda.
In images shared on Instagram, Joe is seen chatting with his relative as he attempts to sweep the podcast charts.

Joe now appears to be a far cry from the baby-faced teenager who won the competition with his rendition of Miley Cyrus’ The Climb (pictured in 2010).
Joe still often shares updates from his life on social media for his fans, uploading photos and videos from his concerts and acting performances.

The singer has worked hard to lose weight after showing off a fuller figure during an appearance on ITV daytime show Lorraine in 2015.
Two years later, however, he had an athletic physique when he came on stage shirtless during his performance of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The singer trained with former Miss Universe finalist Caroline Dixon and followed a strict diet.
Previously, in an interview with Fabulous magazine, he said: “Most of the things we do are amazing, but in a strange way, I really enjoy them.”

‘I am a very active person and have done many charity bike rides.
“It’s a huge part of my life and I think it’s a necessary part of my life to have stamina when I’m on stage.”
Joe also recalled his time on the show that catapulted him to fame.
He said, ‘Every time I watch that clip, I feel so old, I look so young there!’ he said.
Joe’s debut single, a cover of Miley Cyrus’ The Climb, reached number one in the UK charts immediately after his X Factor win.
The talent show star has a discography of five albums, all of which reached the top 20.
