Louisa Johnson showed off her incredibly toned figure in a skimpy bikini on Friday as she soaked up the sun with her friends while on holiday in Ibiza.

The X Factor star, 24, who won the show’s 12th series in 2015, radiated confidence as she slipped into a tiny cream two-piece as she enjoyed her day at the Cala Bassa Beach Club.

Louisa looked cheerful as she frolicked on the sand and took a dip in the sea while making the most of her free time from her busy schedule.

She styled her swimwear with a wide-brimmed straw hat and adorned with layers of delicate gold chains, a matching bracelet and a selection of rings.

The artist radiated natural beauty as she chose to go makeup-free, with her blonde locks hanging loosely under her hat.

Louisa seemed very happy with her stay on the Balearic Island, as she talked and laughed with her companions.

She also criticized the ITV show, which was shut down last year – claiming it was ‘not supportive’ of the contestants’ mental health as they rose to fame.

Louisa said she was forced into rehab when she contemplated suicide as she celebrated her 23rd birthday in January 2021. She spent two months in rehab and was treated for trauma, depression and anxiety.

She said The sun: ‘I woke up and just didn’t want to be here anymore. I was so fed up, I was ready. I wanted someone to shake me up. The accident was like a pesky mosquito that wouldn’t go away – it kept nagging at me, bothering me.

“I thought about taking my own life. But it was more of an idea than, “This is it, I’m doing it.”

The star added that she has a ‘fireball’ in her and knew she would never commit suicide, but that didn’t stop her from thinking about it.

Louisa doesn’t believe the show is the only reason for her mental health issues, but she said professional support would have been welcome.

She said, “We had no support from the show for our mental health and no one sat me down and talked to me about what life would be like.”

Louisa added that she wouldn’t change anything about her time on the show and while it would have been “great” to have therapy, she believes she wouldn’t have taken the offer because she “wasn’t ready.”

An X Factor spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Duty of care to our participants is of the utmost importance to us. We take well-being very seriously and have measures in place to ensure it is supported.”

The star said she became “really depressed” after winning the show in December 2015, as she struggled to adjust to normal life after her win.

She became ‘dissociated and sedated’ and couldn’t care less before she started having panic attacks.

Louisa parted ways with X Factor mogul Simon Cowell’s Syco label in 2018. Louisa debuted in the charts with her pop song Forever Young in 2015, which reached number nine on the charts on Christmas Eve.
