X Factor star Stephanie Ternent Reid has died aged 36.
The Edinburgh mum, who once impressed Simon Cowell and Cheryl on the 2015 ITV show, died just four weeks after celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
Stephanie died unexpectedly on Monday morning after becoming ill over the weekend; At the moment no further details are known.
The mother-of-two impressed The X Factor judges when she auditioned at Wembley Arena and arrived on the Boot Camp stage.
Stephanie’s death was confirmed by her mother Julie Read, who wrote on social media: “My world collapsed around me yesterday morning along with a shattered heart, broken into a million pieces that can never be mended.
‘Heartbroken doesn’t come close to what I’ve felt since my beautiful, precious little girl soul got her angel wings so suddenly. I never thought I’d have to write a post like this.”
‘My precious girl, Mom doesn’t know how to go on without you, but I will do the best I can for your two beautiful babies and I will love and care for them just as you did with every bone in your body.

Stephanie was a regular on the Edinburgh music scene and often streamed her shows on social media. He was also a receptionist on match days at the Hibernia Football Club.
A Hibernia FC spokesperson said: “Everyone at Hibernian FC is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stephanie Reid.
‘Stephanie was a valued member of the Hibernian FC match day team and was always cheerful, friendly and helpful.
“She will be deeply missed and the thoughts of everyone at the football club are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
Stephanie is survived by her husband Ryan and their two children.
