Welcoming new people to X and sales leadership updates
In every corner of X, we’re reinventing how users and customers around the world congregate, interact, watch, and transact—all on one platform. And we are making incredible progress for our global community. For our sales and partnership-focused teams, we are welcoming new people and making some leadership changes to help us deliver even more value to our customers and partners:
Monique Pintarelli, formerly President of Teads, joins as Director of the Americas and oversees sales and partnerships in the US, Canada and Latin America. Marco Botero and Sydney Robertson will report to Monique along with US vertical leaders. In the US we are also consolidating sales assignments under the following leaders: Andrew Aviza will oversee retail, travel and dining.
Eric Amato and his team will report to Andrew.
Mike Dupree will oversee alcohol, sports, gaming, news and cannabis.
Brett Goldslager will oversee Politics, Education and Energy.
Jeff Melei will oversee financial services, CPG, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
Rob Pietsch will oversee Technology, Telecommunications and Automotive.
Mark Bambury and his team will report to Rob.
Ged Tarpey will oversee movies, streaming and broadcasts.
Ayumu Matsuma, Antoine Caironi and Greg Owens will now oversee all sales and advertising partnerships for Japan, the Middle East and North Africa, and Europe, respectively. We will look for a leader for Asia Pacific. Carrie Stimmel, who was NBCUniversal’s chief growth officer, joins X as the new global agency leader. Carrie will partner with holding companies and work with all of our teams globally to create agency partnerships. She will also oversee sales operations and strategies and Mohit Bhargava will report to Carrie.
Brett Weitz, who was General Manager of TNT, TBS and truTV, joins as the new Head of Content, Talent and Brand Sales. Joe Varvara will lead Content Partnerships and Amplify Sales, and Alex Josephson will lead the Next team. Both will report to Brett.
Rob Hayes, formerly Chief Commercial Officer at Dow Jones and Company, joins as our Revenue Operations Leader, focusing on the largest revenue opportunities within the sales team. Initially, Rob will be tasked with supporting SMEs, brand safety and elections.
Haim Vaturi and Chris Park, who lead our team of developers and API partners, will report to me.
We will continue to strengthen our structure to reflect the needs of our users and clients. I want to thank everyone for their hard work. Our progress is being felt and our momentum is increasing. Please join me in welcoming Monique, Carrie, Brett and Rob to the town square.
All together we are building the incredible future of X.
