A Wyoming state lawmaker proposed a bill that would require all blood donations from people vaccinated against COVID to be labeled as such.
State Rep. Sarah Penn sponsored a bill that would make it mandatory for all blood from vaccinated donors to be specifically labeled and allow those who choose to refuse it in non-emergency situations, as reported Cowboy State Diary.
“For a variety of reasons, many people have deliberately gone out of their way to keep mRNA therapies out of their bodies, even to the point that some have lost their livelihoods,” Penn told Cowboy State Daily. “Your concerns are justified.”
It comes after a wave of skeptical unvaccinated Americans refusing potentially life-saving blood transfusions from vaccinated donors.
They fear that the blood of someone who has received the COVID-19 vaccine is “contaminated” in some way, as they fear it is linked to strokes and blood cuts, among other health problems.
