Wynonna Judd’s daughter has been accused of stealing a pastor’s van in a “heroin-fueled” rampage before telling police she sold her soul to the devil during her latest run-in with the law.

Grace Kelley, 28, was arrested on October 27 for allegedly stealing a $3,800 pickup truck belonging to Kent Hart, 31, leader of the Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The country singer’s daughter, who has a two-year-old daughter, faces seven charges, including three counts of felony grand theft and driving without a license, Albemarle County police told DailyMail.com.

She is also charged with intentional destruction of property, failure to use headlights and moving a vehicle with intent to commit a crime, the department said.

Hart described the moment he allegedly saw Kelley take his truck and trailer from the front of his home on a rural cul-de-sac while he was in the kitchen with his family Sunday night.

“I’m talking to my daughter, I look out the window and I see the truck leaving my house,” Hart said. daily progress.

The pastor pursued Kelley in his Chevrolet Yukon and boxed her in, forcing her to stop on the shoulder of Rolling Road.

“I told him, ‘You stole my truck, get out of it,’ (while) banging on the door,” he said. ‘And at this point, I see it very clearly. I saw his haircut and his face tattoo.

“It seemed to me that she might have been on drugs, that she didn’t really seem to be completely sane,” he added.

Hart said Kelley drove toward Virginia Route 20 until Albemarle Police Officer Corey Legg stopped her about four miles away on Massie Branch Lane.

Legg wrote in a report that Kelley told police he “had sold his soul to the devil” and that a suspect had “jumped out of the driver’s seat and ran into the woods.”

“I informed the jail staff that she may have taken something,” he wrote, according to The Daily Progress.

“I was later informed that jail staff observed something inside Ms. Kelley during her body scan.”

Legg said Kelley tested positive for heroin during tests at the University of Virginia Medical Center that same night.

Hart launched a GoFundMe page to recoup the costs of the vehicle, which he says is needed to transport congregation members and equipment to Sunday services.

“The van was damaged during the theft and after being inspected by a body shop, insurance determined it to be a total loss,” he wrote.

‘The van was only valued at $3,800 and after shop fees and the deductible we only have around $2,200 left.

“We are a small church and cannot afford to buy another van in the current market.”

Despite the hard blow suffered by the community, Hart said he has no hard feelings toward Kelley.

“We want the community to know that, on a personal level, we have forgiven Grace Kelley,” he wrote, quoting a Bible passage.

“The Sunday following the robbery, we turned off our live stream and held a special prayer service where we began praying for Grace and her family,” he added.

‘We have continued to pray for his reconciliation, rehabilitation and redemption every Sunday.

‘We pray that Grace will face the God-given consequences of her actions and that these consequences will be a means of grace that aids in her recovery and redemption.

‘If the opportunity arises to be part of your redemptive process, we would love to be a part of it in any way we can.

“We have no animosity toward Grace and we hope and pray for the best for her and her family.”
