Drew Barrymore asked for help with her 'triggering' preteen daughter during the latest episode of her ABC talk show.

Drew Barrymore put on another dramatic performance on her talk show today when she asked for help with her ‘triggering’ daughter, while casually mentioning her best friend Cameron Diaz’s name, just days after she left viewers embarrassed by her bizarre interview with Kamala Harris.

The former child star, 42, was joined by Grey’s Anatomy actress Jessica Capshaw, 47, on her eponymous ABC show, and theatrically collapsed on the couch while begging her guest for parenting advice .

Drew, who is mother to daughters Olive, 11, and Frankie, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman, 45, was desperate to know how to stop her eldest daughter’s obsession with wanting to be older.

“My daughter, who’s about to turn 12, really wants to be 16…she’s going to be 25,” he said.

“But so are we,” Jessica tried to reason. ‘We also.’

Drew admitted yes before letting out a loud sigh and throwing himself onto the couch while yelling, ‘It’s so triggering!’

“We can’t blame them,” said Jessica, who shares children Luke, 16, Eve, 13, Poppy, 11, and Josephine, seven, with her husband, businessman Christopher Gavigan, 50.

‘What should I do?’ -Drew asked.

Turning her attention to her 13-year-old daughter, Jessica said, “Adolescence can be really challenging and at the same time, [can be] Really as easy as you make it.

‘I just try so hard to say, listen. These are the fences. They’re not walls, but there’s something there.

‘And with the phones, that was the first thing. We waited until she was 13 and there was a contract. And there it was, what do I expect from you? What do you expect from me? What does this phone mean?

Later in their conversation, Drew revealed that she had a conversation with her best friend Cameron, 51, about her fears about the way young people like to dress.

She said: “I don’t want to give a name, but it turns out one of my best friends is Cameron Diaz, and I thought, ‘How are these girls dressing today!'”

And she’s like, “Oh, come on. Do you remember the ’70s with bikinis and dolphin shorts?” And I was like, “Yeah, but it felt different.” And she said, “Come on! We all wore tank tops and tiny shorts.”

Drew is no stranger to talking about her children on her eponymous show and last month she recalled the time her daughter Olive surprised her trying on her wedding dress to her ex-husband Will.

“The other night I came home and they told me Olive had a surprise for me,” the actress explained. “And then I walked into the room and she was standing there in my wedding dress.”

His co-hosts, including Ross Matthews, let out a gasp upon hearing the story, along with some members of the live audience.

Drew continued, “And I looked at her and I thought, ‘Oh my God, you look so beautiful!'”

Drew screamed.

Drew shouted “it’s very triggering” while talking about her daughter’s desire to be older.

“I said, ‘You know, technically this is the second time you’ve worn that dress because you were in my belly for six months when I wore it.’ And I’m saving it for you and your sister.”

Former couple Drew and Will tied the knot in 2012, just a year after they started dating.

Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Earlier this week, Drew sent the Internet into a tailspin after a bizarre interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

During one particularly embarrassing segment, Drew approached Kamala on the couch, held her hands, and begged the politician to become a “mother” to America.

She said, “But in our country, we need you to be Momala of the country.”

At another point in the interview, Kamala defended her laughter and suggested that those who mock her are exhibiting a form of sexism.

‘You asked me before what it means to be the first woman [vice president]”he told Drew.

“And you know, it’s funny because people still have to get used to this, right?”

Kamala then claimed that an example of persistent misogyny in which the public adjusts to having a female vice president is when people pay more attention to her laughter or mannerisms.

‘I mean, my staff, for example, sometimes show me little things that just amuse me. Apparently some people love to talk about the way I laugh,” she said.

Drew, squeezing the vice president onto the couch, said enthusiastically, ‘Oh, yeah. OK. I love your laugh.’

“I have my mother’s laugh,” Kamala continued.

And I grew up around a group of women, in particular, who laughed out loud. They laughed, sat in the kitchen and drank coffee, telling great stories with great laughs.’

“You know, I’ll never be like that,” Kamala said before faking a delicate laugh into her hand.
