Vanessa Feltz, 62, said her last date was horrible and that

She has only spent one night at home alone since splitting from her cheating ex-fiancé Ben Ofoedu.

However, Celebs Go Dating star Vanessa, 62, said her search for love was unsuccessful and said her last date was “horrendous”.

Vanessa, who split from singer Ben, 51, in February last year after 16 years together, admitted she didn’t enjoy the date and decided she “couldn’t stand it” before she was even served the soup.

she confessed Heat: “I had dinner with a guy last night and I couldn’t stand him at all before the soup, I didn’t like him.”

However, despite the bad date, the star still refuses to spend a night at home as she admitted she has been “out every night for a year.”

The TV personality, who previously joked that she went on “thousands of dates” while on Celebs Go Dating, revealed that she doesn’t like staying at home.

She confessed: ‘I’ve been out every night for over a year. I stayed home one night a few months ago and still didn’t like it very much.

Vanessa also revealed to the publication that she tends to “calm her head incredibly quickly,” however, she has now realized that is not the best option for her.

She admitted: “I’ve always settled incredibly quickly and I’m not sure that’s always been the best thing.”

It comes after Vanessa joined E4’s Celebs Go Dating last year in a bid to find the right man for her and appeared on This Morning to speak honestly about her experience.

Speaking to Josie Gibson, 39, and Andi Peters, 53, in August last year, the former Radio2 DJ said “dating was very difficult” and sent them into hysterics with her accounts of her dates on the show, including turning the nose. Highlighting the ‘hot’ singles that Josie pointed out in the clip from the show.

Vanessa joked that she went on “thousands of dates” on the show that matches singles with other singles and confessed what it was like filming the dates.

She told the hosts: “I think if you like someone and you like him and you find him attractive and you find him funny and you like his smell and your look and whatever else, you completely forget that there are cameras.” You really do it,

She confessed to Heat magazine:

“If you don’t like them very much and things aren’t going very well, you’re glad there are television cameras.”

“There was one memorable moment where I screamed at the top of my lungs, ‘Producer, do we have enough in the can or what?’ And the poor date looked a little horrified and I said, ‘Well, it’s going to be on TV, right?’ ? Do we have enough or do we not have enough? I’m going to go home. So how?” How long do I have to stay?”

“I thought I was very polite throughout, but various rumors in the production team told me that maybe I was a little harsh in some parts.”

She also joked that she was “flawless” throughout the entire dating process.

She added: “I was willing to listen to their (story) if they only had one interesting thing to say, I very well would have listened to it.”

“They didn’t seem to have a damn word to say, but if they had something to say, I would have listened to them.”

‘Oh Lord. I thought it was absolutely flawless in every way. But the people they lined up weren’t necessarily worthy of my charms, what can I say?

The couple had been together for 16 years and were often seen looking cozy on the red carpet at various glitzy events.

However, the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate was left heartbroken when she discovered Ben had cheated on her.

The presenter reportedly found a series of social media messages and emails from Ben to other women last year.

Addressing her Instagram followers earlier this year, she wrote: “You know, I’ve said dozens of times that I don’t like being alone and that I don’t like being single.”

‘I haven’t stayed a single night since January 2023, not a single night. I have gone out every day because I don’t feel good being alone at home. I haven’t felt relaxed enough to do it.’

‘Well guess what, tonight’s the night, oh yeah! I’m going to prepare dinner, I’m going to eat it.’

“I’ll take a lovely hot bubble bath and then watch the flickering TV and enjoy it.”

‘That’s progress. It has taken me a long time to get here, a long time. There have been more than 390 nights of partying in total or something ridiculous.

“However, tonight is the first exception and that must mean I’m a lot calmer, so thank God for that.”

‘Everyone has been so kind and supportive of me over the last year. I really can’t thank you enough – it means a lot, it really has.’

“So TV, dinner, a bath… and you know what? It seems like a pretty good prospect to me,” he concluded the clip, before saying goodbye with “a lot of love.”
