This weekend, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli will return to Britain’s Got Talent and continue to choose their favorite acts.
But before the judges make their biggest decisions, Saturday night’s upcoming episode will see TV’s Mr. Nasty showing off his softer side.
In a teaser clip, Simon, 64, and new judge Bruno, 68, are seen stopping in a car park on their way to surprise a group of child singers, called Amasing.
After meeting the choir director, Rachel, she tells the couple that she has nominated the children because “they are amazing.”
She said: ‘We are an arts and charity organisation. “We work with thousands of children supporting mental health through the arts and I thought they deserve something really special and really exciting, and all the children here love Britain’s Got Talent.”
In Saturday night’s upcoming episode, Simon Cowell shows off his softer side as he and fellow judge Bruno Tonioli surprise a group of children.
The couple hides inside a giant makeshift box and jumps towards the group of singers who have been having a party.
After explaining that the kids had no idea they were in the building, Bruno revealed that he knew a plan to keep the suspense going… by jumping off a box.
Initially, Simon was unconvinced and exclaimed “no one told me that”, but then proceeds to climb inside a giant makeshift box, alongside Bruno.
As the huge box, adorned with a bow, is carried to the children’s living room, the television judges can hear the group’s screams of joy.
Bruno, laughing, turns to Simón and says: ‘The things we do, eh?’
The music mogul and former Strictly Come Dancing judge is then seen stepping out of the box to be greeted by a crowd of screams and cheers from children who proceed to gather around him, giving him high fives.
One of the children bravely asks: ‘Are you the real Simon Cowell?’ to which the head judge responds by lifting his sunglasses and exclaiming: ‘Yes!’
Elsewhere, Bruno smiles from ear to ear as he has a sweet encounter with one of the children who tells him it’s the best day of his life, to which Bruno replies: ‘It’s the best day of my life too, darling! !’
If all that excitement wasn’t enough for the kids, Simon surprises them even more by congratulating them on being amazing singers and then letting them know that they would all be joining him on Britains Got Talent.
At first, Simon wasn’t convinced about hiding inside a giant box with a bow and exclaimed “no one told me that”, but he proceeded to climb inside, along with Bruno.

The children are completely surprised and proceed to surround Simon and Bruno, high-fiving each other.

Simon further surprises the children by telling them that as they are all amazing singers, they would all join him on Britains Got Talent to perform.
Also on this weekend’s show, Simon is stunned when he is reunited with the same sports car he owned three decades ago.
In scenes set to air on Sunday, Trixy, an electrical engineer and father of two, promises to create a “magical moment in time.”
The magician borrows his fellow judge Bruno’s watch and begins the astonishing trick, using 50 photographs from across Simon’s life.
Trixy shows a snapshot of the vintage red car, a 1971 Triumph TR6, and Simon admits, “That’s one of my favorite cars,” shortly before the magical reunion.
The media mogul is then whisked away from London’s Palladium theatre, where he is reunited with the motor sports car waiting for him on the red carpet. Simon is visibly stunned and so delighted that he kisses the hood of the vehicle.
It’s already been revealed that there will be a total of nine golden moments this year, marking the most the show has ever seen.
Returning presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed this meant the show took longer to film because the judges were “more chaotic” than ever.
Britain’s Got Talent returns with a new series, Saturday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 7.40pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
