Scary Movie is rebooted, 11 years after the last film, Scream 5, was released in theaters.
The new version of the famous franchise was revealed by Paramount at CinemaCon on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Paramount will distribute the film and Miramax will finance it, according to the outlet.
The film, which will be produced by Neal H. Moritz, is expected to begin filming in the fall.

Scary Movie was developed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans.
They wrote and directed the first two installments of the franchise.
Marlon and Shawn also starred in the first two films.
Scary Movie was released on July 7, 2000, and served as a parody of the successful horror films of the era, including I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream.
