Adele has boasted that her love of alcohol means she can now “drink anyone under the damn table” as she spoke about her battle to hold her own during her shows.
The singing sensation, 35, who has been sober on and off for 18 months, also revealed that she has decided to end her self-imposed alcohol ban.

And with a break on the horizon, Adele has revealed she is ready for a glass of wine, as she said she is still a rock star and can drink anyone under the table.
Speaking to the crowd in Las Vegas, he said: “I like to have a drink.” I can not lie. I’ve definitely cut it down, especially since becoming a mother and becoming a professional artist, but I could easily, easily, easily drink any of you under the damn table.

But the London-born, Los Angeles-based sensation said sobriety has calmed her, but she now feels worried about being overstimulated by life.
He admitted that he has resorted to watching Harry Potter movies to keep himself in check, as he said he lives a “ping pong” lifestyle.
“Being a musician, even if you sing piano ballads you’re a bit of a rock star,” he added.
“I’m sorry because the kind of lifestyle you end up living like ‘ping, pong, ping, pong’ we’re all addicted to something.”
Adele, the best-selling British artist of the 21st century, opened up candidly to her captivated audience and confessed that she is also banned from using the phone.
She revealed she had been living a “pretty boring” life, but said she had to give up her mobile phone because she was overstimulated and “hanging on by a thread.”
“I thought if I went back and lived in false stories and things like that, like Harry Potter and the wizards and things like that, then maybe I would get my innocence back because I’m exhausted,” she added.

‘And I can’t ever drink red wine when I sing because I don’t know about you, but red wine fucks me up. I can not deal with it. I’m a white wine girl, but not straight.
But I can’t drink white wine anymore. I’m 35 and 85′ I have to have half and half.

‘And I still get screwed. But a glass of red wine takes me over the edge. I have the worst hangover, my whole mouth and tongue turn red.
“I look like a mess and it just takes away my voice.”
In October, Adele revealed she had stopped drinking for three and a half months and claimed she was “on the verge of alcoholism” when she was 20.
Adele told the crowd at one of her concerts in Las Vegas: “I stopped drinking about three and a half months ago.” It’s boring. I mean, I was literally on the verge of alcoholism for much of my twenties, but I miss it so much. I eliminated caffeine.

In March, Adele also revealed that she once drank four bottles of wine before lunch during the Covid-19 lockdown.

‘I said in 2020 that I wanted to release my album. And we were all at home basically drunk.”
In 2023, Adele told Oprah Winfrey during a CBS interview that she had “quit drinking” in the wake of her estranged father, Mark Evans, dying of bowel cancer in May 2021.
Adele, who lost more than seven stone after cutting alcohol from her diet, said: “I stopped drinking.”
“That’s a great way to know yourself: just drink water and be sober.”
The singer has reportedly said her Las Vegas residency has “given me my life back” after confirming she will be expanding her career.
He opened up to his fans and supposedly admitted that the show had been the highlight of his career.
According Sun, said: ‘I feel very safe here. My life is small. I don’t really leave my house and that’s by choice. My life used to be huge when I was younger. But it’s like the bigger my career gets, the more scared and anxious I become.”

Speaking to the crowd in Las Vegas ahead of her upcoming break, the star explained how excited she was to get back to having a drink now that she has some time off from live shows.
