The star’s revelation comes shortly after she broke her silence about her ex-husband Joshua Jackson’s new romance with Lupita Nyong’o.
Jodie filed for divorce in October last year, citing “irreconcilable differences” after four years of marriage.
The two stars agreed to share custody of their four-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson.
Sources told DailyMail.com at the time that Joshua had been left “heartbroken” by the split.
But just weeks later, the Fringe actor, 45, confirmed his romance with Lupita, 40. They were photographed holding hands in public.
Speaking about Joshua’s romance with Lupita for the first time, Jodie told The Cut on Friday: “Good for them,” Jodie said. ‘We need happiness to be able to co-parent peacefully. “I’m trying to get us to the level of Gwyneth (Paltrow) and Chris Martin.”
“I really hope that they are happy and that it benefits us as a family,” the Acolyte star said, putting her daughter first.
