The girlfriend of a prisoner filmed allegedly having sex with a female guard is seven months pregnant and has been hospitalised for stress, it emerged today.
Linton Weirich, 36, from west London, was seen in a clip filmed on a phone apparently having sex with prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu at HMP Wandsworth.
And now it has emerged that Weirich’s partner, who MailOnline has chosen not to name, fears the stress of the incident could result in a premature birth.
A source close to her said: “This is the last thing she needs in her condition, it is extremely upsetting. This stupid video has affected her health, she was hospitalised over the weekend for stress. She fears this will cause her to go into premature labour.”
De Sousa Abreu, 30, who is married, appeared before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with misconduct in public office.

Linton Weirich is the inmate who was filmed allegedly having sex with a female guard in a cell.
Weirich was jailed in April for burglary after stealing £65,000 worth of goods from a safe at a luxury flat in Kensington.
Among the items stolen in a raid in March 2022 were jewelry, belts, handbags, a laptop and a suitcase.
Weirich was jailed for four and a half years for burglary and theft at Kingston Crown Court on June 7.
Photos posted on her Instagram page show Weirich with the same tattoo on her arm as the man in the alleged pornographic video.
Six years ago, Weirich pleaded guilty to dangerous driving on the M6 at Stafford.
He also admitted assaulting a police officer with intent to resist arrest, driving without a licence and driving without insurance when he appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in March 2018.

De Sousa Abreu was arrested at Heathrow airport on Saturday before being able to board a flight to visit relatives in Madrid, a court heard yesterday.
He was attempting to travel on a Portuguese passport, which was confiscated by the Metropolitan Police.
De Sousa Abreu appeared in court charged with misconduct in public office for “engaging in a sexual act with a prisoner in a prison cell.”
Dressed in a grey tracksuit, she spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address.
Prosecutor Niamh McDonagh told the court: “Ms De Sousa Abreu was arrested at Heathrow Airport where she had booked a flight to Madrid. I believe she has relatives living there.
‘The police confiscated a Portuguese passport from her when they arrested her. She is a Portuguese citizen and holds a Portuguese passport.’
In the cellphone video, Weirich is seen apparently having sex with the prison officer.

De Sousa Abreu was arrested at Heathrow and was due to take a flight, the court heard.
The footage was reportedly filmed at HMP Wandsworth in south-west London.
In her defence, Gayathri Yogarajah said De Sousa Abreu had notified HMP Wandsworth of his travel plans, which were duly passed on to Scotland Yard.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear for a plea and case management hearing on July 29 at Isleworth Crown Court.
You must remain at the address in south-west London given to the court. Your Portuguese passport must remain with the police and you cannot try to recover it.
You are prohibited from applying for or being in possession of international travel documents and must surrender your Portuguese identity document with which you can travel.
De Sousa Abreu is also banned from entering any UK port and must be electronically monitored between 9pm and 7am.
