The Dawson’s Creek star, 45, wore striking yellow pants and a navy blouse, paired with black sandals.
She accessorized with oversized sunglasses and carried her belongings in a handbag while talking on the phone.
Katie’s walk comes just days after her daughter Suri Cruise’s 18th birthday last Thursday. She shares Suri with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, 61.
Tom, who “has had no part in Suri’s life” for 11 years, did not publicly acknowledge the milestone.

He’s currently in the UK, where he’s filming Mission: Impossible 8, and attended Victoria Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday party in London on Saturday night.
Now that Suri is legally of age, she has made a big decision: she never wants to have any relationship with her father.
She even performed a breakdancing routine in front of her fellow celebrity guests, including Victoria’s former Spice Girls bandmates Mel B, Emma Bunton, Melanie C and Geri Horner.
Tom has been separated from Suri since 2013, a year after he and Katie divorced.
The Top Gun actor’s last photo with his daughter was from a trip to Disneyland in 2012, the year his divorce from Katie was finalized.
He hasn’t spent much time with his world-famous father in 12 years and that sent him a message, one he intends to defend now that he has a choice in the matter.
Turning 18 means she can officially cut all remaining ties with Tom in the role and the Top Gun star will no longer have to pay child support to Katie, a sum that reportedly amounted to $400,000 a year.
But not even the potential for future financial help will entice Suri to enter into a relationship with her father, experts insist.
“Suri will have no contact with her father, despite being 18, and even if he called she wouldn’t answer,” a source told DailyMail.com. “He doesn’t exist for Katie or Suri, and his daughter doesn’t want to depend on him for anything.”

Additionally, having two very famous parents has led Suri to know that she wants to remain a private citizen and not follow in her parents’ footsteps, a source said.
“She is currently weighing her options for the future,” the source reveals. “But she plans to remain a private citizen.”
Suri has shown interest in pursuing a career in fashion, with sources revealing in March 2023 that she was “leaning” toward studying the subject at university.
He reportedly focused his application process largely on the New York City area to stay close to his mother.
