The Apprentice stars Harpreet Kaur and Akshay Thakrar opened up about their upcoming wedding and revealed that they are planning three days of ceremonies.
2022 series winner Harpreet, 32, got engaged to fellow contestant Akshay, 31, in May last year after he proposed with a display of red roses on a London rooftop.
And the couple have revealed that their time on The Apprentice will be referenced at their nuptials via their guest list.
Harpreet explained that Lord Alan Sugar and his advisers, Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell, have been invited.
While fellow contestants Kathryn Burn, Brittany Carter, Akeem Bundu-Kamara and Nick Showering will also be attending, with Kathryn serving as Harpreet’s maid of honor.

Harpreet explained that Lord Alan Sugar and his advisers, Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell, have been invited (pictured).
The couple will celebrate their wedding over three days, including an English-style white wedding followed by a traditional Indian ceremony at a Mandir and then a “grand reception party.”
Harpreet said Mirror: ‘We are very excited and hope that Lord Sugar, Karren and Tim can achieve it. The show is what allowed us to meet each other and has been a big part of our lives.
“It depends on their schedules, but they have all been invited to the traditional Indian wedding ceremony in Watford and the reception in Windsor.”
He added: “We’ve tried to keep everything as intimate as possible because otherwise everything could get out of control.” When you are Indian, your immediate family is equivalent to about 150 people.
Speaking on their podcast, The Couples Boardroom, the husband and wife-to-be revealed that they are planning to spend their honeymoon in Africa, with their options being Mauritius, Kenya and South Africa.
Their relationship began after the show ended, when Akshay invited Harpreet to lunch in Shepherd’s Bush and flew from there.
Harpreet explained: “Everything got worse very quickly and within three months we became quite serious.”
Akshay got down on one knee on the rooftop of a penthouse overlooking The Shard, after tricking Harpreet into thinking he was attending a friend’s 30th birthday party.
She recalled: ‘It was like a movie set, it was beautiful, and she said, ‘Yes.’ She was very nervous, worried that the ring would be there every 10 minutes. As soon as I gave it to her I was relieved.’
While fellow contestants Kathryn Burn, Brittany Carter, Akeem Bundu-Kamara and Nick Showering will also attend, with Kathryn as Harpreet’s maid of honor (Harpreet and Kathryn pictured together at her bachelorette party).
The couple will have three days of wedding celebrations, including an English-style white wedding followed by a traditional Indian ceremony at a Mandir and then a “grand reception party” (pictured last year).

Harpreet added: “All his friends were involved and helped him lie about this supposed James Bond 30th birthday party, so I believed him completely. It was magical. I couldn’t have asked for more. He’s a true gentleman.
She revealed that the couple hopes to start a family one day, but they are in no hurry because they first want to travel and enjoy married life.
He added: “It will be good for us to move on to the next chapter of our relationship.” We plan to have kids, but I think we have a couple of years before we tie them down.
“We’d like to travel a bit and just enjoy married life as a couple because once we have kids, they’ll take care of it.”
Harpreet earlier said that they had set their wedding date for June and confirmed that she had already fixed her dress.

‘I finally just ordered dress number one and I’m so excited. We’re trying to keep it pretty intimate, which is very difficult when you’re Indian, but we’re really looking forward to it.
“I think it’s going to be a good next chapter and, once again, something incredible that has come out of this crazy experience we call The Apprentice.”

In February, the lovebirds admitted that they never imagined they would fall in love on the show, despite Akshay’s mother hinting at the possibility of a romance.
Akshay said OK! In a magazine, his mother joked about his search for love, telling him, “Good luck, maybe you’ll find your wife,” but he insisted that she “not be stupid.”
“I told her not to be stupid because it was a business fair and a high-pressure environment,” she said.
Harpreet echoed, “I never thought I’d meet anyone on the show.” I just didn’t expect it at all.’
His first impression supported this theory, as Harpreet said on the first day of The Apprentice, Akshay gave him a serious look and looked away.
It made her think that he was there on business and only business. “He doesn’t seem very friendly,” she thought at that moment.
“I had a plan not to make friends,” Akshay revealed. “I wanted everyone to be afraid of me.
