Amber Turner broke down in tears during Sunday’s episode of The Only Way Is Essex after her ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar moved on with co-star Ella Rae Wise.
As the reality show returns for a new series in Bali, the former couple, who split last May after six tumultuous years, have faced awkward clashes.
Amber, 30, and Dan, 33, have been in an on-off relationship since 2017 and are currently embroiled in a bitter custody dispute over their shared dog.
Even though Ella confessed that she had been “making out” with Dan “the whole time” they were in Bali, Amber had managed to keep her calm – until now.
Amber now admitted that Dan and his pet, Oliver, were her family as she cried on the shoulders of her friends Elma Pazar and Chloe Meadows.

“The fact that they’re together, I think because I knew it was going to happen, that part doesn’t surprise me,” he explained.
Elma replied: “You’ve handled everything very, very well, almost too well.”
‘That’s why I’m excited, you’ve handled it so well that I feel like I’m taking on your emotions!’ Chloe said.
Amber went on to explain how Dan and her dog Oliver were “her family” before breaking down at the thought of losing them.
“I’m already crying and I don’t even know why,” she explained.
The former couple have been embroiled in a bitter custody dispute over their dog, with Dan taking charge of his care while Amber lives in Dubai.
In previous episodes, Amber told Dan to “feel free” to talk to her “if it makes him happy” during an argument about their “shared” pet dog, Oliver.

Amber reportedly split from a new partner after being left heartbroken by a romance between Dan and Ella, who is a decade his junior.
A source said Sun: ‘Amber had been dating a guy living in Dubai for the past few months, but she recently ended her day with him.
“She realized she was a rebound after her breakup with Dan, and didn’t see a future in the new relationship, so she quietly ended things before heading to Bali to film TOWIE.”
The source also claimed Amber was hoping to rekindle things with Dan while they filmed the new TOWIE series abroad, but his growing romance with Ella got in the way.
