The model, 28, arrived at fashion’s biggest night in a sparkling black and brown floor-length Givenchy Couture dress from 1999.
The incredible look, which featured a plunging neckline, had a sheer panel running across her stomach and back, showing off her derriere.
The dress also featured fringe details on the shoulders. Kendall, who wore a pants-less look at last year’s gala, added a touch of warrior princess energy to the look with a half-up braided hairstyle.
Her ex-boyfriend, Bad Bunny, who was one of the co-presidents, was also at the event, as well as her sisters Kim Kardashian—who provoked shocked reactions with her thin waist—and Kylie Jenner.

The Costume Institute’s Spring Exhibition is held on the first Monday in May each year and is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Awakening, while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth are this year’s co-chairs. She is also part of Vogue’s Anna Wintour committee.
Honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
“This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of professional accomplishments and all have distinct style stories with the Met Gala,” Vogue shared.
The exhibit will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection, and many of the pieces are too fragile to be worn again.
All pieces will be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI and more while playing land, sea and sky themes.
“It’s very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu curator in charge of the Costume Institute, said of the upcoming exhibition.
At last year’s Met Gala, Kendall rocked a pants-less look in a black sequin bodysuit with floor-length sleeves, designed by Marc Jacobs.
“One thing I hope this exhibition activates is that sensory appreciation of fashion.”
Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham will host, while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview the stars on the red carpet.
Last year’s gala paid tribute to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
