It surpassed Florida’s Orlando StarFlyer as the world’s tallest free-standing swing ride, and that attraction is now short of the 450-foot (137 m) record.

Dubai’s Bollywood Skyflyer, which took 600 days to build and 120 days to install, joins a fleet of other record-breaking sky-high attractions spread across the city.

The emirate is also home to the world’s tallest infinity pool, which stands at a height of 200 m (656 ft) in the Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah Island, the world’s tallest Ferris wheel, which exceeds 820 ft (250 m), and Burj Kahlifa, the tallest building at 2,716.5 feet (828 m).
