The USMNT team received heartwarming messages from their families ahead of their World Cup opener against Wales.

With just 24 hours to go until the United States takes the field at Al Rayyan Stadium, all 26 players received messages of support from loved ones back home after President Biden wished them luck.
Brenden Aaronson’s parents, grandparents and siblings, as well as the family dog, sent a message of support in the clip shared on the team’s official Twitter account.
Dressed in a team jersey and sitting next to a USA teddy bear, Kellyn Acosta’s son stole the show with a sweet video alongside Tim Ream’s cheerleaders.

Former US star Claudio Reyna, who earned 112 caps, wished his son and Borussia Dortmund star Gio the best with his family.
The five plus minutes included the families of all the players on Berhalter’s shortlist for the nation’s first World Cup since 2014.
There is still some doubt surrounding Berhalter’s best starting line-up, but Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams was confirmed as captain on Sunday.

In a team meeting, President Joe Biden phoned the USMNT to offer his support as they try to find success in Qatar.
“Coach, put me on, I’m ready to play,” the president joked at the beginning of the call.
‘Guys, I know you’re the underdog. But I tell you what a man, you have some of the best players in the world on your team and you are representing this country and I know you are going to play your heart out. So let’s surprise them all.
“Keep trusting each other, play as hard as you can, and know that you and your families, your teammates and the entire country are behind you.”
The World Cup began on Sunday when the hosts, Qatar, were beaten 2-0 by Ecuador. The USMNT take on Wales after England take on Iran in Pool B on Monday.
