Hello and welcome to Mail Sport’s live coverage of the first day of this year’s Cheltenham Festival, with just under an hour and a half to go before the crowd unleashes the legendary Cheltenham Roar ahead of our first race.
Make sure to set your watches for 3:30 p.m. – this is when the biggest race of the day, the Champion Hurdle, will take place.
