Australians are sharing the biggest “yucks” and annoyances they experience at work.
From pen thieves to team building activities and even coworkers who are overly jolly in the morning, employees in every industry are revealing what makes them grind in the workplace.
There were plenty of classic responses, including meetings that could have been an email, colleagues microwaving fish, and receiving work-related texts on days off.
Others said patronizing co-workers, superiors who favor some team members over others, and people who click their pens or tap their toes all day are also infuriating.
‘Tell us what makes you completely ANGRY at work. We’ll go first.. When they set up a meeting after 4 pm on a Friday,’ a mail to read the Boost Juice Facebook page.

The post drew hundreds of responses that began with people breaking office etiquette.
Pen thieves or not putting things back in their place! one woman said and another added: ‘No one replaces toilet paper.’
“People not cleaning in the break room,” wrote a third, while a fourth said, “People eating tuna in the dining room.”
“When someone repeatedly clicks their pen or hits their desk really hard but doesn’t realize how annoying it is because they have their headphones on,” explained a fifth.
“Touching my sandwich when it’s in the sandwich maker or opening the microwave to see if my food is done,” someone complained.

One person said they hated it when someone couldn’t “talk and work at the same time” and another person was angry that colleagues refused to “admit their own mistakes.”
“When they text in our group chats on the weekends when I’m trying to enjoy my time away from work,” one user commented.
‘When you’re supposed to work as a team but end up doing all the work yourself,’ a second replied.
“When you have to follow up multiple times to get a response,” a third complained.
A lot of prearranged meetings that could have been emails are infuriating, as are meetings held during breaks.
“When the meeting host starts to wrap up the meeting right at the scheduled end time and then ONE person has to ask a question that prolongs the meeting for another 15 minutes,” added one man.
Another worker said it makes them mad ‘when someone texts me ‘hi’, then they wait for me to say hi before asking me their question.’
“When a coworker treats me like I’m below them because I’m younger than their superiority complex,” said one woman.
Someone wasn’t a fan of ‘cheesy’ team building activities, especially when they’re meant to be done outside of business hours.
“Asking staff to engage in ‘fun’ team-building activities during their free time and then not asking them to do so during busier work hours,” they commented.
One person said they were not a morning person and did not like coworkers who were.
‘When everyone is so cheerful and happy at six in the morning and they want to say ‘good morning’ to you,’ they moaned.
