Foodies are rushing to Woolworths to get their hands on a delicious new ‘loaded’ cake.
The supermarket’s classic mud cake got a fun rainbow twist in the newly released Birthday Cake flavor set hitting stores nationwide on Wednesday, May 31, while supplies last.
Featuring rainbow sprinkles in a rich vanilla mudcake drizzled with white chocolate ganache and topped with biscuit pieces, this decadent bakery treat has sweet tooth Aussies salivating.
While the $6.80 cake doesn’t officially launch in stores until tomorrow, a few lucky shoppers have been able to find it in their local Woolies.
Food blogger Nectorious Papi quickly picked up the pie to try for herself.

“I think this is one of the best flavors they’ve ever released,” he said in a TikTok clamp.
Some were adamant “there’s nothing like” Woolies’ classic chocolate mudcake, but many were eager to try the exciting new flavour.
“I’m actually crying,” said one viewer.
“Well, I’m eating a salad right now, so I guess I can eat a whole cake on my own for dinner, right?” joked for a moment.
Ange Eats, another Melbourne-based food blogger, sampled the cake online video.
“This is literally a birthday party in my mouth, it’s delicious,” he said after biting into the cake.

Customers also shared their excitement about the special cake flavor on Facebook with one saying: “Shut up and take my money!”
The birthday cake mud cake comes after other special editions, including Mint Cookies and Cream, Caramelised White Choc, Mint Chocolate, and Chocolate Orange.
