Woolworths confirms major price review across Australia – here’s what you need to know

Starting Wednesday, May 29, the prices of more than 450 products at Woolworths will drop

Woolworths will reduce prices on more than 450 items in its stores nationwide as part of its new price review.

Starting Wednesday, May 29, the cost of select products will decrease by 20 percent as part of the ‘Winter Low Prices’ program, with some items reaching their lowest price in almost four years.

Top deals include Corned Beef Silverside at $8/kg instead of $10/kg, Roasted Pork Belly at $16/kg instead of $19/kg and Beef Fillet at $15/kg instead of $17.50/kg .

Other popular products included in the program include tasty Devondale Grated Cheese, Vanish Napisan Stain Remover Powder, Strength Meals Co Chicken, Vegetable and Barley Soup, Twinings Pure Peppermint Tea Bags and more.

The offer will be available for the next three months until August 27.

Paul Harker, commercial director at Woolworths Supermarkets, said: “We understand the pressures our customers face and the need to budget for hearty, hot meals and staples for their families.

“Our Winter Reduced Prices program is designed to give our customers certainty about the key products they will purchase this season to help their budgets go further.”

Customers can also save 30 per cent by purchasing Woolworths home brand products compared to alternative brands.

In addition to this, The Odd Bunch offers another way to save at least 20 percent on fruits and vegetables that are a little rare, but still of good quality.
