Woolworths chief executive Brad Banducci has announced he is resigning days after emerging from an interview with ABC.
The supermarket announced Wednesday morning that Banducci will retire in September after eight and a half years as CEO and 13 across the company.
It comes just days after the embattled boss walked out of an ABC interview after asking if one of his answers could be deleted.
