A group of women who support Trump say they believe there will be a “civil war” if Donald Trump does not win the 2024 presidential election.

In a series of notable interviews in a segment shown on cnnjournalist Donie O’Sullivan spoke with supporters of the former president, who also told him that they believe the United States “is not a democracy.”

‘We used to have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, we had that too, now they are picking on Christians and Jewish people. I mean, how much more can we take? the unidentified woman began.

“Are you worried that if Trump loses there will be another January 6th?” O’Sullivan asks.

‘No. I think there will be a civil war. That’s what I think will happen,’ the woman responds.

“To be honest, I don’t think he lost the last election,” another woman said outside a Trump rally.

When asked what he thought would happen if Trump did not achieve victory, his prediction was ominous.

‘We’re done. We are in problems. We are in big trouble. “Biden talks about democracy, you know, saving democracy, but they’re the ones killing democracy,” he responded.

Donald Trump used his 78th birthday party on Friday to promise deeper tax cuts if he wins the Nov. 5 election and to make vague predictions of future terrorist attacks on American soil following the arrest of Tajik nationals with alleged ties to ISIS.

Speaking before thousands of supporters at a convention center in West Palm Beach, Florida, the Republican candidate promised to further reduce the corporate tax rate he lowered when he was president, while also providing tax relief to the middle class.

Trump, who is locked in a tight rematch race with Biden, did not provide details.

Standing next to a huge cake topped with a ‘MAGA’ hat, marking his ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan, Trump spoke to a rowdy crowd of supporters, many dressed in red, white and blue.

The event was organized by a supporter group called Club 47 USA, whose name is a nod to their hopes that he will become the 47th president.

Age and mental acuity have been at the center of the contest between Trump and Biden, often receiving more attention than substantive policy issues.

Public opinion polls show that Americans are most concerned about Biden’s advanced age, which is 81 years old.

But at 78, Trump is only three and a half years younger and, if he wins a second term, would be the oldest person to take office.

While he did not explicitly question Biden’s age, Trump once again sought to portray his Democratic rival, who sometimes makes verbal errors and walks slowly, as physically frail and mentally unfit to occupy the Oval Office.

Calling Biden and his administration “grossly incompetent” and “probably the dumbest leadership in the world,” Trump said that “all presidents should take aptitude tests,” before referring to a cognitive test he said he took during his mandate.

Biden has responded to questions about his age by telling voters to focus on his accomplishments in office as evidence of his acumen and strength.

He has described Trump as a threat to democracy following his efforts to overturn the 2020 election and criticized his sometimes incoherent speeches as well as his use of inflammatory rhetoric against immigrants.

‘Happy 78th birthday, Donald. Take it from one old man to another: age is just a number,” Biden posted on social media platform X along with a video contrasting his actions with Trump’s. “This election, however, is a choice.”

It is unclear to what extent age will be a factor in the final outcome. Among the issues voters will weigh is the strength of the economy, which is generally doing well but is beset by inflation, as well as immigration and abortion rights.

The first televised debate on June 27 will be a major test for both Biden and Trump, as voters will look for verbal errors as a possible indicator that they might not be up to the task of leading the country.
