A woman has experienced a nightmare in a hotel after her room was invaded by “2,000 moths” and a “killer snake”.
Content creator Jemma Sayer captured the chaos in her room in Thailand in a TikTok video, with an overlay of text that read: “When you check into your hotel and open the door at night, a killer snake lunges at you and “More than 2,000 moths fly in.” .’
In their clip, which has garnered more than 3.9 million views, an avalanche of moths is seen clinging to the bed and under the bug net, while a group of them circle the room’s ceiling light.
Most followers were scared by the terrifying video, with one person commenting: “I would walk away from my life.”

The video shows Jemma’s room with items of clothing scattered everywhere, along with several of her friends standing around assessing what to do next.
One of her friends is seen sporting a blue headlamp while standing right next to the central location of the moths on the bed.
The insect net over the bed had many holes in it from what appears to be from moths eating it.
She captioned the video: “The man with the bat just says it all.”
Jemma provided more context in the comments.
She wrote: ‘Just to clarify, we don’t leave the door wide open. We opened the door for a split second to get out, and this jungle of moths and a snake came into our room.’
The content creator added that the ‘killer snake’ in question was a cobra snake.
Jemma also shared: “They moved us to a different room, but yeah, I can safely say we didn’t get much sleep that night.”
