Shocking body camera footage has emerged showing a $400-a-night hotel guest attacking Florida police officers after They were called to remove it for “causing disturbances.”
Julia ReJean Moorhead, 36 years old, She was filmed cursing at police before lying down and flailing in the street in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid arrest.
The YSL suspect, who appeared visibly deteriorated, charged at the police officers. He arrived at Ben’s Hotel in West Palm Beach after a frantic call from hotel staff.
In images taken in October but released this week, Moorhead is seen sitting outside the facility drinking a carton of water in an apparently combative mood.
A hotel worker describes to police how she fell in the lobby and began “freaking out” after staff tried to determine if she was staying at the hotel.

The 36-year-old woman repeatedly threw herself to the ground as police attempted to arrest her during the 11-minute struggle.

When the police approach and ask if he had “too much of a good time,” Moorhead immediately goes on the offensive, barking that he doesn’t know why they were called.
“Why are you surrounding me? I haven’t done anything wrong,” she fumes, before storming back into the lobby.
The police quickly chase after her and tell her she can’t be on the property.
‘Why the fuck are you doing this to me? I need to talk to my boyfriend,’ she complains as the cops escort her outside.
Once there, she is informed that she will be considered an intruder if she tries to enter again.
‘Give me a damn reason!’ She demands before continuing to argue with the cops, and at one point she called an officer “stupid.”
‘Who the fuck are you?’ he asks an officer, before threatening to report everyone involved.
Finally, the hotel manager intervenes and asks if they can remove her from the property because of the scene she is causing.
But this only makes Moorhead angrier and she drops to the ground to avoid being moved.
Moorhead was charged with assault on a first responder, resisting arrest, criminal trespass, criminal damage and disorderly intoxication offences.
When they first arrived, Moorhead was sitting outside the hotel and already in a combative mood.
They were forced to quickly run after her after she tried to run back into the premises.
The situation escalated after Moorhead turned and punched one of the first responders, causing the officers to pile on top of her and handcuff her.
He finally gets up and crosses the street shouting profanities, before turning around and punching one of the officers.
Then the rest of the police pile on top of her and handcuff her while she cries and protests.
She continues to resist arrest, rolling on the ground so hard that her skirt rides up, exposing her lower half.
When the police try to put her in the car, she falls to the ground sobbing again and screaming “fuck you.”
The fight continues as the police continue to try to restrain her while she yells at them to get off.
Finally, they push her into the car, but she continues to move around like a toddler in a tantrum, making it impossible for the police to get her in.
Finally, the police on the other side of the vehicle dragged her kicking and screaming to the back seat of the vehicle and managed to get her out.
Then her boyfriend shows up and begs the police to be “gentle” with her.
At one point, her boyfriend came out and begged the officers to be “gentle,” prompting one officer to explain that he had been hitting and kicking them.
The incident unfolded at the 4* Ben Hotel in West Palm Beach after staff asked Moorhead to leave.
Rooms at a high-end hotel cost around $400 a night. Staff told police Moorhead had fallen in the lobby and they were trying to determine if she was a guest when the chaos began.
‘Be gentle? She is kicking and hitting us. We were very nice to her all the time. She can’t be gentle anymore. It’s already done,” responds a police officer.
Moorhead was charged with assault on a first responder, resisting arrest, criminal trespass, criminal damage and disorderly intoxication offences.
She has pleaded not guilty and her case continues.
