This is the shocking moment when a woman invaded a police station and took another female hostage while apparently threatening her with a carving knife, before seven armed policemen hit the attacker.
Salinas police in California reported that Mariel Capulong, 22, Wednesday hostage a 43-year-old person in their lobby, but they were able to de-escalate the situation in just one minute and 10 seconds using smart tactics.
In a video shared by the police, the victim sees the reception leaving and outside the camera she leaves the ward, but is brought back by Capulong.

Capulong – with a white cap and with her hair in a high ponytail – is visibly wielding a cleaver.
Capulong is shown by holding the woman in a head lock by the neck and holding the helicopter in the air during the 4.10 pm incident.
At some point she seems to be saying something into the victim's ear while looking around the station.
The relationship between Capulong and the unknown victim is unclear and it is unknown why she visited the station.

Off-camera Capulong places the victim in a chair and jumps back into the frame without the hostage.
Suddenly a number of agents with firearms appear who point them to Capulong in an attempt to have her put down the weapon and release the woman.
Officers then call instructions to drop the weapon in vain.
But at some point, Capulong seems to be wailing after an officer verbally scrapes the situation and then quickly uses the stun gun on her, allowing the attacker to release the victim temporarily and giving law enforcement agencies the chance to enter.
The Salinas police think they were able to subject the suspect so quickly because they had extra staff nearby because they were preparing to trade services.
The victim was not injured and the suspect suffered minor injuries when she was arrested.
Capulong was booked in the Monterey County prison for abduction, false imprisonment and mistreatment with a deadly weapon.
Salinas police said in a statement that it & # 39; is proud of our officers for using their training, experience and good tactics to de-escalate a tense, fleeting, and rapidly evolving violent encounter & # 39 ;.
