It’s not unusual to see a celebrity in New York, but one woman left the Internet angry after revealing that a kind stranger who helped her clean her incisions after wisdom teeth surgery was actually Gossip Girl actor Thomas Doherty.
“I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth out when I was 17, but I didn’t and I got a really bad infection,” Beth Gaskill. explained in a TikTok videoadding that he had to have his wisdom teeth removed as a result.
A couple of days after pulling her teeth, Beth flew to New York to film a news segment for her reading company and then went out to a celebratory dinner with a friend.
“We weren’t really served at this little restaurant,” he explained. ‘And these two guys come and sit next to us.

“New York is very small,” he continued. “And the tables are very close to each other (so) Thomas was very close to us.”
Beth and her friend began chatting with the actor and his friend and noticed that they were served before they even received the menus, so Thomas and his friend began sharing their food with them.
“It was very sweet,” he said.
The four chatted (Thomas told them he was an actor but did not reveal his last name) before the conversation turned to his dental surgery.
“I really don’t know what happened next, but I thought to ‘prove’ I was a sweet boy, I said, ‘Do you want to clean my wisdom teeth holes?'” he recalled.
“I don’t really remember what I said,” she quickly added, slyly adding that in return he said something “very funny but inappropriate.”
“And then he cleaned the incisions and said, ‘That was fucking disgusting. Shit,” he recalled.
According to Beth, the best part of the story came from showing people the photos after the event.

“I was showing it to my best friend, Rod, and he literally fell out of bed and said, ‘Beth, that’s Thomas Doherty, he’s so cute,'” she laughed.
To add to the story, she was sitting in a restaurant with her friend the next day when Thomas stopped by again, this time with his brother, and he had been telling her the wisdom tooth story.
“They chatted with us for 30 minutes, it was very nice,” he said, joking: “We’re just friends now.”
The educator added that she normally doesn’t know famous people very well, but admits it’s a “pretty funny story.”
