A woman, a mother of two children, who drinks and bathes with her own urine for health reasons, is under investigation for giving it to her dog.
Lucy Goldswain, 42, from Kuranda, north of Cairns in Far North Queensland, pleaded for help on social media after finding a tick on her dog Gayaa, which was causing adverse side effects including paralysis.
The yoga teacher then ignored dozens of comments pleading with her to seek professional help and instead “asked the Pendulum” if the tick was alive and gave the animal her “aged urine” to treat it.
His outraged followers have since reported his reckless behavior to the RSPCA, which has launched an investigation into the matter.
Goldswain has been avoiding modern medicine for years and believes he is able to cure diseases and even grow new teeth by drinking his urine “straight from the glass you pee in” or after storing it and “aging” it.
The strange situation unfolded on Nov. 30, when Goldswain, who lives in a converted school bus with her two children, noticed the tick on her dog’s head.
Using the username Lucy Aura, she initially asked her 2,766 TikTok followers for advice, before deciding to follow her ‘intuition’ and use essential oils to treat the parasite.
However, days later, with the tick still attached to the small dog, Goldswain continued his videos explaining that while Gayaa appeared to be suffering from paralysis, a known side effect of tick bites, he was confident that his urine would cure him.

Lucy Goldswain’s dog Gayaa was showing signs of paralysis and could not move an eye.
“The eye has been rolling a lot and not blinking,” Goldswain said.
‘Gayaa is absolutely fine, apart from the eye not blinking.
“He’s running, he’s eating and I actually gave him some of my aged urine because I have a bottle here.”
“And he happily… you know, dogs happily lick urine and it’s medicine, so I decided to give it to him.”
Goldswain explained that he didn’t feel the need to pay the vet bill because he could “talk to the animals for a long time.”
“I am following my intuition and I am not going to go to the doctor because I feel that many times we only pay this money to have peace of mind… so I have decided not to take him to the vet.”
Angry followers immediately took to the comments section trying to change his mind.
‘It sounds and looks like paralysis! He needs a vet, it’s not about intuition and giving him your urine! Do right by him at least. This is what happens with ticks,” insisted one of them.
Another added: ‘You’re crazy. Someone needs to call the RSPCA to go check on that dog. You need serious help and we all know you won’t get it, but at least do it for your helpless dog.
The RSPCA received multiple complaints about the situation.

A third wrote: ‘I work in animal emergencies. It is necessary to take this dog to the vet as a priority. No vet will give you advice over the phone as you must do your own physical assessment in order to treat him appropriately.
Several upset followers later shared their RSPCA responses after reporting the situation.
Email responses confirmed that animal inspectors were dealing with Goldswain.
‘Thank you for contacting RSPCA Queensland, we appreciate your concern.
“We have received several reports regarding this matter, our inspectors are aware and are currently addressing the situation.”
Goldswain later addressed numerous reports to the RSPCA alleging that she was a negligent dog owner and admitted that she had not registered her dog.
“Personally, I would like to go for some kind of sovereign citizenship, sovereign identity, you know, there are a lot of people I know who are doing it and there is a whole movement going on here,” Goldswain said.
‘I wonder if he will be the first free dog? The first sovereign dog? I would love to fight for your freedom. Fight for your sovereignty, not have to be registered and be a free animal on the land.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Goldswain for comment.
