A woman has sparked an online debate after she revealed her boyfriend told her she ‘needs to look more like a woman’ because she farted in front of him.

A British woman has taken to Reddit to reveal she’s been having a tough time with her partner, who is ‘disgusted’ by the amount of farting she’s been doing resulting in fallout and the two sleeping in different rooms .

User – @throwaway1083672513 – posted to the ‘AmITheA **hole’ subreddit on August 18 asking for advice on the pungent issue causing a rippling rift between the couple.

Saying she ‘wanted to fart without judgement’, she added: ‘We just had a big fight about it tonight because I farted in the kitchen by accident’.

“I’m really sick of him treating me like what I’m doing isn’t natural and always telling me I need to look more like a woman.”

THE job – captioned, “AITA for farting in front of my partner” – reveals how the unnamed woman, 24, and her male partner, 30, have been together for almost two years, but only recently moved in.

She explained: “He’s been really frustrated with me lately because he’s been saying I fart too much at home and it disgusts him.”

“I tend to fart multiple times a night, and he gets super grumpy, accusing me of doing it on purpose (I’m not).

“I feel like I should be able to fart at home without judgement.

“I told him I was fed up with his attitude and acting like I was some kind of freak for doing something everyone else is doing.”

The woman then described a shocking turn of events in their relationship, saying, “We’re currently in separate rooms not talking because of the fight.”
