A woman has sparked a heated debate online after revealing that she wears her bras ‘many, many times’ before washing them.
Unknown woman led to UK breeding site momsnet questioning whether she was a ‘s**nky cow’ or a ‘grotbag’, considering her sister cleaned her bras after every wear.
She said her underwear “never looked obviously dirty” nor did it retain “any kind of odor” after multiple wears, however she was happy to clean “sweaty” sports bras right away.
The poster divided comments, with one person saying wearing a bra more than once grossed them out, while others saying they went much longer between uses.
She explained: ‘This afternoon my sister and I were having a chat and this came up.

‘She washes her bras after every wear. I am the complete opposite, my bras get used many, many between washes and they never seem dirty or have any kind of odor.
‘Am I being unreasonable or idiotic, or is she being a clean freak? She was just wondering what the general consensus is.
She said she came to reflect on her actions after a conversation in the gym while she and her sister were changing.
“The only exception to my rule is sports bras that sweat and are washed after each use,” she continued.
The post drew more than 300 comments, as many people shared their own personal practices.
One person said she washed her bras after each wear because they “lay flat on sweaty skin.”
Similar comments continued to flood the comments section, with one claiming that the person washed theirs “after every use, like my panties.”
