A woman has sliced off her ex-boyfriend’s penis with a knife after he tried to rape her in Italy, according to reports.
The incident happened on Saturday August 12 in Marghera, Venice, following a dispute between the couple over custody of their daughter.
The couple – who are both foreign nationals living in Italy – have reportedly been separated for some time, according to la Repubblica.
They would have met at the woman’s home to seek an agreement on the “management” of their daughter.
The argument that followed came after he allegedly tried to “make peace” by offering to have sex with her.

After she allegedly refused, it is claimed he pushed her against a semi-naked piece of furniture.
The woman then responded by brandishing a knife and slicing his penis with the blade.
Police and ambulance services rushed to the scene, and the couple was taken to hospital.
The man is said to have had his penis successfully put back in place after a reconstructive operation, which was carried out by urological surgeons.
