Clare said she had the pigment removal treatment done on her face and décolletage.
And while he “luckily” has no burns or marks on his face, he said a week after treatment he was “miserable” from the scars on his chest.
“A week into treatment and I’m miserable,” Clare captioned a video showing the marks on his chest.

She added in the clip: “POV – you did laser pigmentation removal and they turned the settings too high.”
She later shared another clip nine days later in which she wrote “day nine after failed laser treatment.”
Clare added: ‘Update: skin is peeling off and dealing with extreme itchiness.
“Dermatologists have said that the burns appear superficial, like first-degree burns, and the white postage stamp marks will take weeks or months to heal.”
Many who saw the clips were quick to speculate about Clare’s skin before treatment.
‘I’m sorry this happened to you. I am a laser therapist and you are definitely too olive for pigment removal. They shouldn’t have done it,” wrote one person.
But others said that “it seems she didn’t tell you that she was in the sun a lot, since the laser on sunburn is this.”
Daily Mail Australia does not imply that any of these are true.
Clare responded to some of the comments, writing: “I sent photos to my friend who is a dermatologist and he assured me there won’t be any permanent damage.”
She said she’s been “avoiding the sun like the plague and lathering up with moisturizer.”
She also clarified that she has been given some aftercare products and that she is coming back every other day for LED light therapy treatments.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Clare for comment.

Clare said: “Dermatologists have said the burns look superficial, like first degree burns, and the white postage stamp marks will take weeks or months to heal.”
According laser clinics australialaser pigmentation removal treatment works to safely and effectively reduce the appearance of freckles, pigmentation and age spots.
The laser targets only the pigmented lesion on the light-absorbing skin, without damaging the surrounding skin.
The laser heats up and breaks down the pigment. The pigment is then drawn to the surface without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Once drawn to the surface, the pigmented lesions will fade or dry and flake away from the treated area, leaving skin with an even complexion and tone.
Laser Clinics recommends that two weeks before treatment avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF50.
You should also avoid laser, IPL, skin needling, and cosmetic-grade peels, as well as fake tanning, solariums, or tanning medications.
Pigmentation removal is suitable for people with fair to light skin tones (Fitzpatrick 1-2) and who are not prone to hyperpigmentation.
