A woman shot a man in a Manhattan public housing building Wednesday night, according to police and sources.
They said the 33-year-old victim collapsed in the lobby of 1775 Houses on E. 126th St. near Lexington Ave. in East Harlem around 6:10 p.m.
After shooting the man once in the abdomen, the woman fled in a gold 2004 GMC Envoy, police officers at the scene said.
“They found him on the stairs, bleeding,” said a neighbor who did not want to be named. “They shot him between the ribs and the stomach.”
Medics took the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
The cops know who the woman is but are still looking for her, police sources said.
There were no immediate arrests.
