A woman shocked thousands after sharing a video showing what’s really hiding inside her water bottle and why she needs to clean it right now to prevent dirt and mold from growing.

TikTok user Lilli Madsen caused a stir when she shared the ‘disgusting discovery’ she made inside her bottle of the cult brand Frank Green.

In it imagesLilli used a cotton tip to clean the inside of the straw before discovering dirt on the swab that was invisible to the naked eye.

Lilli said: ‘It’s been weeks/months since I’ve given my bottle a good cleaning.

“Take this as your personal reminder to clean your Frank Green straw.”

Hundreds of people who watched the video were also horrified by Lilli’s discovery:

“Just cleaned mine after seeing this,” wrote one commenter.

“I needed this today,” added another.

But others said theirs were even worse when they did, writing: “I had to use four earphones because they came out covered in black stuff every time I put them in the straw.”

Another TikTok user named SlimShaydy shared something similar. video – this time showing how mold can easily grow inside the bottle and around the grooves in the lid if not cleaned regularly.

‘Don’t be a straw filler and washer like me and wash your bottles regularly!’ she wrote.

His clip showed a layer of dirt on the bottom of his pale pink bottle and black mold beginning to grow around the straw insert in the cap.

More than 1,000 people were quick to comment below her clip: “I’ll definitely be cleaning my bottle now.”
