BEFORE AND AFTER: A woman shared her simple hack to remove oily stains from plastic containers – and it’ll only take you a minute, without scrubbing
Adi Kempler, from the US, explained that all you need is some dish soap, some dish soap, some warm water and some ripped kitchen paper (the trick in the photo)
How to clean your plastic containers
1. Add a small amount of washing-up liquid, some warm water and ripped kitchen paper to your container.
2. Put the lid on and shake for 45-60 seconds.
3. Remove the lid and paper towel, rinse under warm water and wipe the container again if necessary.
The video shows Adi filling her plastic tray with a small amount of dish soap, some warm water and a piece of kitchen paper, torn into small pieces.
Once she has all the elements in, she simply puts the lid on and shakes vigorously between 45 and 60 seconds.
Adi said, “So I never post here, but I really wanted to share this trick to get greasy stains out of containers.”
She added that the trick has “saved” her from throwing away so many old containers in the past.
After shaking the container for 45-60 seconds, Adi told you to remove the towel from the inside and tap the soapy water out.
You can then simply rinse the container under the tap and, if necessary, wipe it again before emptying it onto your drainer.
Once Adi has detergent, water and paper towels in the container, she simply put the lid on and shake vigorously for 45 to 60 seconds (shown)
The reason the trick works is that the paper towel will help absorb all the oily residue while shaking, keeping the container surface completely clean.
The trick has been viewed online by nearly half a million, thousands of whom said they couldn’t wait to try it for themselves.
‘What? That may have just changed my life, ‘said one woman below the video.

“Omg, that’s great,” added another.
Others emphasized the fact that you can also remove stains from tomato sauces and bolognese by putting your containers in the sun for a few hours.
You can also put a few teaspoons of sugar, some ice cubes, dish soap and soap in a container before shaking the same.
