When she felt more confident in the gym, she added weights to her routine and strengthened her cardio sessions to 45 minutes to an hour.

As the weight melted away, Carlisa adjusted her routine accordingly. She explained that when she first changed her diet, she would have fruit and vegetable smoothies for breakfast and sometimes dinner.

She exchanged fast food for vegetables and fried meat such as chicken or turkey, and instead of processed sweets, she craved fruit. She drank two to four liters of water and a few cups of green tea every day.
