A woman died mysteriously after riding a roller coaster at an Indiana amusement park last weekend.
Dawn R Jankovic, 47, was found unconscious Friday night after riding the roller coaster at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Jasper, Indiana, according to the Evansville Courier and Press.
According to the theme park’s Facebook post, Jankovic was visiting Holiday World in Santa Claus on Friday and was riding The Voyage when she lost consciousness.
Holiday World emergency medical services treated Jankovic at the scene before an ambulance arrived to take her to nearby Memorial Hospital. Hours later she was pronounced dead.
The results of Jankovic’s autopsy have not yet been released, as officials say there is nothing wrong with the roller coaster itself upon inspection.

Officials say an inspection of The Voyage rollercoaster found Jankovic no problems
“A full inspection of the roller coaster has been conducted and it has been determined that the ride was operating as intended,” the theme park said in a statement on Facebook.
‘Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari officials ask for your thoughts and prayers for the guest and her family, as well as for team members who were on site.”
An autopsy on Jankovic — who lived in Brunswick, Ohio — has already been completed, but the results are withheld pending notice from the family, Dubois County Coroner Katie Schuck said.

A GoFundMe was created by friend Alice Tackett to help offset funeral expenses and the cost of transporting Dawn’s body back to Ohio
“I am shocked by this tragic news. Rest in peace, Dawn Renee Jankovic,’ friend Alice Tackett wrote on the Facebook page.
‘We certainly had a good time! I will never forget your spirited attitude and love for rock n’ roll. Keep it rockin’ in the air my friend. Many will miss you.’
A GoFundMe was created by Tackett to help offset funeral expenses, as well as the cost of transporting Dawn’s body back to Ohio.
By Monday, the page had raised $7,950 from 143 backers, well above its original goal of $4,000.
The Voyage ride was closed for the rest of Friday night “out of respect for the family,” according to Newsweek.
WDRB reported that it could take up to six weeks to determine exactly what killed Jankovic.
