A woman was shocked by the state of a central London hotel after discovering ‘luminous’ pee and mysterious stains in her room.

A Twitch streamer known as Knightenator, 28, branded the £146-a-night hotel a “catfish” because it looked “very nice in the photographs”.

In a video shared on her platform, she revealed bedding and pillows covered in questionable brown stains, as well as an “airlock” style toilet, which meant the hotel room could only be accessed through the bathroom.

She also complained of “toxic” colored urine that appeared disturbingly in the toilet bowl while she and her friend were out.

“My friend and I couldn’t believe it when we walked in, we actually laughed for a full 20 minutes at all the weird stains, the broken appliances hanging on the walls, and most of all, the bathroom situation,” he said.

‘The airlock style entrance to the room was the strangest part of the room. You open the door to your hotel room and are greeted by a bathroom with a shower upstairs.

“There was also no safe space to put the toilet paper because when you turn on the shower, everything in the bathroom gets wet because it is so small.”

Adding to her frustration was the proximity of the constantly damp bathroom to the beds, which were just a “step” away, she said.

The influencer, from London, booked the £146-a-night hotel with a friend in July 2024 so she could attend her playdate in her local area.

“I play on Twitch for a living,” he explained. ‘I host a community gathering for my viewers to spend time together in person.

“This hotel stood out as being reasonably priced at least for London and didn’t look too bad so I booked it to stay with my friend who was also attending my meeting.”

The choice would be bad, since the hostel turned out to be the “hotel from hell.”

The guest documented her stay with a series of video clips, which she recorded as she moved around the modest room.

It showed deteriorating window sills, an unpleasant view and bedding with inexplicable brown stains that she repeatedly said were “so bad”.

He also said the room was “very hot” as there was no air conditioning or elevator to access his seventh-floor hotel room.

The small bathroom was placed between two entrance doors.

Still, that wasn’t the worst: the player and her friend got the shock of their lives when they returned from an excursion.

“When we returned many hours later, we were greeted by a horrendous bathroom with the toilet lid up and bright yellow urine in the toilet,” Knightenator said.

‘We both assumed the other person had secretly urinated before leaving. Turns out none of us had!

“While we were outside, someone came into the room, urinated and left.

“The enigma still remains to this day, we have no idea who entered the room and what the hell they had been drinking to make their urine such a toxic color, but hey, it added to the theatrics of the hellish hotel.”

Knightenator decided to find the funny side of the situation and, instead of complaining to management, he settled for making a video about the strange room.

She said she hopes to never stay in a room like this again, and her friend has forbidden her from choosing future hotels.

But he said it wasn’t entirely his fault because the hotel was a “catfish” and looked good in the photographs.
